The Institute Monte Rosa was founded 1874 and since then, has been offering a wide range of academic progammes in both general subject areas as well as intensive language studies.

Enthusiastic teachers deliver knowledge to their pupils in a family-like atmosphere conducive to learning -preparing them for the future.  In an international environment of living and learning,  young brains are stimulated, horizons are opened and perspectives are broadened.  Such an environment offers a good preparation for life.

Every Monte Rosa Alumni has memories of those good old days.  Memories  that we will certainly never forget.  This was an important time for most of us.  For some it was the first time away from home.  Unfamiliar surroundings in a foreign country with new people and rules that you first had to get used to.  But you got used to it, very quickly.  Mr. Gademann, you did a great job.  We happily look back.  It's amazing when someone gets in touch with you for the first time in at least 10 years.  All at once, you think back to the good old times.  This time has somehow brought us all together.  For many the best friendships have been formed in this way.  Friendships that will endure and last for ever.  A vote of thanks to everyone who made this time in Montreux for us possible
